Best chippy in the area. Can be a tad pricy. But you get what you pay for. Some days pizza. Some days kebabs. Pot luck on that one.Great choice of off the shelf condiments to buy also fresh and make your own sauces. Lovely friendly staff. Alrhough expect a longer wait. If you wear jesus creepers or don't buy iron brew. The gingers get weird over that.Winner of many splendid awards. Including winner of the golden fried fingers award and juicy crispy bits monthly magazine.All fish is fresh local caught from the ice blue waters of Barry baydos. The fresh sausages you can hear squealing out the back. Diabetic slush puppies are nice with a delicious choice of chips. With salt and or vinegar.
I am the delivery driver for churchstreet fishbar. On many occasions I have eaten from there and my favourite food is large sausage in batter and I highly recommend the haddock it's beautifully cooked to order.
Close to a 5 star review, staff were great and even the other customers were friendly, chips spot on, curry sauce excellent, fish batter perfect but fish a touch over done.
Top quality chip shop. Environmentally sound packaging. Really good food. Not CHEAP but not expensive either. Well worth checking out of you're in the area, or passing through.
